New Tools at Ocean State's Design Center:
A virtual bike being designed at the Ocean State Design Center.
Most people accessorize their motorcycles with the objective of getting the "look" and the "fit" they want. Harley-Davidson has introduced two great tools that make adding accessories to your motorcycle easy!
To help get the look you want, Harley-Davidson has introduced it's "Customizer" web application. This application allows you to add virtual accessories to a bike image and experiment with different accessories until you have just the look you want. To use the "Customizer", log onto Harley-Davidson.com and pick a motorcycle to customize (or click the link below). About 90% of current Harley-Davidson® product is available through "Customizer" so there are plenty of options available for you to try. Set up your user ID and you can save your creations in your virtual garage to show later. You can also use the "print list view" to print a list of your accessories. Bring this list to Ocean State or email it to partsoshd@aol.com(Warwick) or parts@oshds.necoxmail.com(Exeter) and we can use your reference number to automatically put your accessories aside.
To help you get the fit you want, Harley-Davidson has introduced it's "Fit Shop" program. With special tools (like a floormat that simulates lowered suspension), Ocean State's experienced staff can help you modify things like suspension, seat height, handlebars and foot controls to meet your riding preferences.
To make "Customizer" and "Fit Shop" a part of our showroom, large TVs are being installed in both of our locations. These TV's will allow you to sit down with our design specialists and create your virtual dream bike in "Customizer". You will also be able to take advantage of "Fit Shop" materials to be sure that your dream bike creation will be comfortable to ride.
