The new model is Harley’s latest Dark Custom motorcycle, and its matted and blacked-out finishes stand in stark contrast to the chromed-out and glossed-up standard streetbike fare.  Mark-Hans Richer, the company’s chief marketing officer, described the Iron 883™ as having old-school style while leaving plenty of room for customization.

Featuring a slammed suspension and solo saddle, this new steed shares the same basic design concept as the Nightster® 1200, but with fewer ponies and a lot fewer bucks.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to URE Outfitters for making last week’s Education Night such a success.  Those that attended saw “Camping and Cooking” demonstrations  including a water filtration system, tent set up, showers and lanterns.  In addition, we sampled dehydrated  sweet and sour pork with rice.  We actually proved that all of this gear would fit on a bike for a road trip!  Thank you, URE for your assistance and all the great gear you brought to share with the class.
