Visitors to the E&W:
It’s been awhile since we have blogged on the E&W progress. The railroad has been running successfully for several months now. The front showroom loop track two is mostly complete with interlocked crossover switches. This allows us to operate more than one train at a time which has made operation more interesting. It also allows something else that we never thought of…. Visitors!
If you would like to take your MTH train for a test run on the E&W bring it down to Ocean State Harley-Davidson Shop. We’ll help you get set up and give you the controls. The following pictures show one of our first visitors………
Train HD1903 with several loads of new motorcycles approaches the siding just outside of Wood River Junction.
HD1903 takes the siding clearing the main for SP Daylight Passenger Special, visiting the E&W.
The caboose conductor waves to the engineer of the passenger special. The main is clear and the interlocking switches have been set for track 1.
The SP Daylight passenger special crosses the “Freedom Bridge” just north of Exeter.
HD280 is back on the floor for the seasonal Christmas tree display. The Exeter store has been decorated for the holiday season both inside and out.
